Introducing Large Breed Salmon & Potato Working Puppy Food 15kg

Meet our exceptional Large Breed Salmon & Potato Working Puppy Food 15kg, a wheat gluten-free, high-performance diet specifically tailored for large breed working and sporting puppies. This carefully crafted formula satisfies the unique nutritional needs of your growing working dog while providing optimal support for sensitive stomachs. Our large breed puppy food ensures your young canine companion can perform at their best while enjoying a delicious and wholesome meal.

Do Large Breed Puppies Really Need Large Breed Food?

Absolutely! Large breed puppies have distinct nutritional requirements compared to their smaller counterparts. Due to their size, these puppies experience a longer growth period, which necessitates a specialized diet that supports proper growth and development. Our large breed puppy food 15kg is designed to meet these specific needs, ensuring your working pup grows into a strong, healthy, and agile adult dog.

What Should a Large Breed Puppy Eat?

A well-balanced large breed puppy diet should include high-quality protein sources to support muscle development, essential vitamins and minerals for overall health, and an optimal balance of fats and carbohydrates to provide energy for growth and activity. Our Large Breed Salmon & Potato Working Puppy Food 15kg offers a nutritious blend of salmon as a primary protein source, potato for easily digestible carbohydrates, and vital nutrients to promote healthy development.

Is a 15kg Dog Considered Medium?

A 15kg dog is generally considered to be on the borderline between small and medium-sized breeds. However, our large breed puppy food is specifically designed to cater to the needs of puppies that will grow into large or giant breeds, typically weighing over 25kg as adults.

Is There a Difference Between Puppy Food and Large Breed Puppy Food?

Yes, there is a difference. While all puppy foods provide essential nutrients for growth and development, large breed puppy food is formulated with specific nutritional ratios to cater to the unique needs of larger breeds. This ensures that these puppies develop strong muscles, healthy joints, and sturdy bones to support their larger size and increased activity levels.

How Many Times a Day Should a Large Breed Puppy Eat?

To maintain a steady growth rate and avoid overloading their developing digestive systems, large breed puppies should be fed three to four times a day during the first few months of life. As they grow, you can gradually reduce the number of daily meals.

How Long Should a Large Breed Puppy Be on Puppy Food?

Large breed puppies should remain on a specialized large breed puppy food until they reach approximately 80% of their adult size, which typically occurs between 12 and 18 months of age. At this point, you can transition them to a high-quality large breed adult dog food.

When Should I Switch My Puppy to 2 Meals a Day?

After your large breed puppy reaches six months of age, you can begin reducing the number of meals from three to two per day. This will provide sufficient nutrition for growth and performance while accommodating their maturing digestive systems.

How Do I Know If I'm Feeding My Puppy Enough?

To ensure your large breed puppy receives adequate nutrition, monitor their body condition, growth rate, and energy levels..

Choose our Large Breed Salmon & Potato Working Puppy Food 15kg for a well-rounded, nutritious meal that supports your working dog's growth, performance, and well-being. Trust in our expertise to help your large breed puppy reach its full potential.

My french bulldogs have very sensitive stomachs, they are allergic to fillers and maize which unfortunately is in nearly all brands of dog food. I have spent absolute fortunes on royal canin etc over the years and my dogs have never done well on any of them. I recently changed my dogs straight over onto the salmon and potato and was amazed to see immediate results! Over the past 2 weeks they have all gained weight and even their normally sloppy poos are much firmer, I really can't say enough good things about this food it is the best food that I have ever purchased. I have just placed another order for more so I will never run out.Thankyou so much!!

I could not be happier with the large breed salmon and potato food. My GSP loved it, he maintained excellent condition, put on muscle and had the most amazing glossy coat. Everyone comments on the shine on his coat which I put down to the fish oils in the food. The food is fantastic value for money and delivery is super speedy. Highly recommended.
